Another addition to the Lo & Behold series of dwarf Buddleias, Purple Haze has a distinctive horizontal, low-spreading habit adorned with dark green, feathery leaves. Its deep purple-blue, butterfly- and hummingbird-attracting blooms grow outward and downward, starting in midsummer and appearing continuously until frost. What a glorious accent for the sunny garden.Purple Haze is a Proven Winners ColorChoice plant chosen for its exciting color and great garden performance. To be selected for this group, it had to first be thoroughly tested in trial gardens all around the world, and its health, vigor, and beauty have proven unparalleled. Purple Haze reaches a height of 24 to 36 inches and a width of 36 to 42 inches. Great for use as a groundcover or in perennial gardens and mixed borders, this beautiful Butterfly Bush needs only occasional watering once it's established, and since it's a sterile variety, it won't produce any unwanted seedlings. Typically unpalatable to deer, Purple Haze grows quickly and has shown itself to be tolerant of both heat and drought, making it a wonderful choice for areas that don't receive a large rainfall. It can even be grown in containers, bringing fantastic color and texture to your patio. You're going to love this new easy-care Buddleia. This variety of Buddleia has been approved as a seedless butterfly bush cultivar and is considered sterile, producing less than two percent viable seeds, so it will not spread. It is approved for sale in all states without restriction. https://www.oregon.gov/ODA/programs/NurseryChristmasTree/Pages/ButterflyBush.aspx
