A stunning antique French silver coin purse. The body is made up from intricately woven and delicate 800 silver mesh. The base of the purse features a beaded fringe with 7 silver beads and it has a wonderfully pretty engraved silver frame with a kiss lock clasp fastener. There is a small blank cartouche on the purse frame so it could be personalised with initials if desired. There is a small jump ring so the purse can be hung from a chatelaine or sash. French marks for silver across the frame, c1900. A beautiful and well designed antique purse. Condition: Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some light patina, the frame does not close flush, still locks in the clasp but a small gap can be seen.
