The case features a durable hard plastic exterior that can stand up to the abuse of travel thanks to its crush-proof design. Additionally, its O-ring seal keeps out dust, dirt and water so your items remain protected regardless of the weather conditions. Further, the case can even withstand submersion in water thanks it its IP67 rating (1 meter submersion for 30 minutes) without damaging your laptop, clothing, or other critical items thanks to the built-in automatic pressure equalization valve. The stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors are as durable as the rest of the case. Inside, the 1560LFC's main compartment features foam in the base for an extra layer of protection.
