Located on the center of the handle is a unique line identification dial that can be set to remind you what type and pound test line you have spooled on your reel. The XCS achieves an even lighter overall weight at 6.4 ounces thanks to the use of duralumin components, including a lightweight and extremely strong hard anodized duralumin worm shaft. The ergonomic and rugged aluminum frame is dipped in a special alloy coating giving it a lifetime corrosion-free finish. These reels are perfectly capable of handling saltwater exposure, making them a great option if you're looking for an inshore baitcaster. The Soleus XCS is outfitted with two high-speed spool bearings, which provide you with longer and smoother casts. The spool is controlled by a fine-tuned internal centrifugal braking system that will help you make the perfect cast with a wide range of lures.
