Then after this the fabric was hand printed with a water color brushstroke print, aligned right on top of the velvet brushstrokes. The designer who made this gown understood the cost of this fabric and in the most genius of ways they made this dress with only one seam! The fit comes from the shaping of the fabric with diagonal darts which control the fabric as it wraps around the body to the center seam in the back.
