Large, slightly flattened globular fruit has very smooth, unrusseted skin with a glassy shine. The background color of mature fruit is green, with an 80% blush of very deep garnet-red. The crisp, firm, fine-textured flesh is white with a bright green tint, and contains more sugar in its juice than a standard McIntosh. Resistant to late-season fruit drop.
