NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, and USB connectivity make this device easy to connect to your Simrad NSS, NSO, or GO series MFD and to Simrad RS VHF systems for a completely integrated system. See and be seen with the NAIS-500 by sending your AIS signal to other vessels with all of your navigational data, all while receiving other vessels data around you that may be transmitting. Having an advanced knowledge of who and what is around you will allow you to plan necessary routes around other vessels, well in advance.
