Making a waterfall for a pond is fast and easy. The TetraPond Waterfall Filter creates beautiful waterfalls quickly and easily. This easy-to-assemble filter provides both mechanical and biological filtration and can be easily hidden with rocks and pond decorations. Promotes increased aeration for your pond and cleaner and healthier pond water. Use with pumps between 500 and 4,500 gallons per hour (not included). Use with 1 inch or 1 ? inch ID tubing.TetraPond Waterfall Filter works through mechanical and biological filtration. Pond water is pumped into the bottom of the filter, and the water rises upwards through a fiber mat, which traps suspended dirt and debris. Water flows through lava rock or Bio-Activators (not included), where beneficial bacteria naturally colonize to convert harmful pollutants into relatively harmless nitrates.
