    Description

Compact, Rugged and Reliable Fixed Mount VHF Radio with Internal GPS Receiver Rugged and Reliable, the GX1400G from Standard Horizon is an affordable VHF (Very High Frequency) Marine radio designed for on the water communication between vessels. Designed to Meet ITU-R M493-13 Class D DSC requirements, VHF's radios with DSC offer constant monitoring of channel 70 to receive distress signals of vessels in your area that are in need of help as well as transit your boats MMSI # and GPS co-ordinates in the event you hit the DSC button. Sending important information and saving precious time in the event of a distress call. Simple to operate and designed with a oversized DOT matrix display, this GPS is a top choice in on the water communication. Built with an internal 66 channel GPS receiver, the GX1400G does not require connections to a compatible chartplotter for position but can still be connected via NMEA 0183 for redundancy and to share numerical data with your MFD. NOAA Weather, Channel Selection with Weather alert, Programmable Scan, Priority Scan and Dual Watch are all features found in this compact 25W VHF Radio with GPS. In the event of extreme weather the Built in NOAA Weather alert will stop scanning and your VHF will emit a loud beep alerting you of a NOAA Broadcast. Simply press any key to stop the alert and the weather alert screen will appear allowing you to go directly to the weather channel or return to the marine channel you were on. Scanning is customizable and can be set to Priority or Memory, allowing your VHF to automatically scan channels and when an incoming signal is detected on one of the channels during that scan your VHF will pause momentarily allowing you to listen to the transmissions on specifc channels. Priority channels are scanned more frequently, after each programmed channel and with the Dual Watch setup a normal VHF channel and priority channel are scanned alternatively so important communication updates are never missed. Long known for their reliabilty, Standard Horizon stands behind their Eclipse series of radios with a 3 Year Waterproof Warranty - If for any reason (including water damage) during normal use your GX1400GW fails within the first 3 years of ownership, STANDARD HORIZON will repair or replace it free, without hassles or charges. If it fails for anytime thereafter in normal use, for as long as the original purchaser owns the radio, STANDARD Horizon's Lifetime Flat Rate and Customer Loyalty Service Programs will cover it. Available in White or Black, the GX1400G will match any setup and the compact size makes fitting it nearly anywhere a simple task. Please Note, the GX1400 comes with a bracket mount only and does not include a Flush Mount Mounting Kit. Flush mount kit sold separately, For more information Please click here!
