This energy-efficient unit uses up to 9 kW of power and an exclusive copper sheathed heating element housed in a copper cylinder to heat water instantaneously as it flows through the machine for complete elimination of standby heat loss. Activated by a minimum 0.8 GPM flow rate, it features an exclusive design with a flow switch that prevents dry-firing and premature failure as well as a high-limit switch with manual reset for optimum safety and peace of mind. This updated DHC Classic water heater provides the reliable heating of the original DHC series but packaged in a more sleek, modern design.
